Water, chemicals, preservatives and an awful lot of fillers, extenders, and yes…a little “bitsy bit” of the newest “powerhouse ingredient” (wink, wink).
That’s it. That’s the basic working formula for 99% of the skincare companies out there. Not very sexy is it? Oh..., of course there is a little bit of the featured ingredient, but really? Who do they think they’re kidding? Even if it was a great featured ingredient, the concentration levels are so low that it would take years to see any results.
Sure, we could make our products the same way….split up our formulas and add some extra water, fillers and load up on the chemicals (the same stuff the "other" companies do), we could even drop the price some, but really, who suffers? Of course, you do ... the end consumer.
The result is that you have products that are simply less effective. You also would have products that have an increased chance for adverse reactions. You see, when products that are formulated with high levels of chemical preservatives (to control the bacteria that thrive and multiply in the extra water in a product) are slathered all over our ourselves, our body reacts in the only way it can. Sometimes it is fine, but often it is not. We may break out, or even get a rash. Simply put…our skin is saying "get that stuff off of me".
Think about it...it's one of the main reasons why so many consumers have had allergic reactions and break outs from their skin care products. Haven’t you or at the least, someone you’ve known broken out from a skin care product?
And did I mention the price?
Someone has to pay for all that clever marketing and huge mega ad campaigns, and guess who that is? Drum roll please…….. you and me. Charging crazy expensive prices for all this “hope in a jar” even with a cool label is just so “ovaha”.
Ugh, had enough? The good news is that “the times…they are “a changin”!
Savvy consumers are demanding results driven skin care. They are beginning to become more and more aware of what they put on their skin. They also are becoming more informed about the potential harmful effects of certain popular chemicals (Sodium Laurel Sulfate) and the loads of paraben preservatives that are in many of the skin care products you probably have in your bathroom right now.
Consumers love us and they have good factual reasons why!
Sircuit® Cosmeceuticals is just different. We're very proud of our "straight up" position on NO Parabens or artificial fragrances or coloring, period. We have been doing the same thing for 6 successful years in a row. We formulate in a very new way, a unique way and have been driving our competitors crazy trying to figure out “just how we do it”.
We have never had to reformulate to follow a “paraben, chemical free” trend or any trend for that matter. We recognized these potential dangers 6 years ago and have never done them and I might add…never looked back. It personally makes me giggle a bit seeing these big brand companies (experts right?) tout the “NEW BENEFITS” of now being paraben free…but what were these same companies telling you last year…or the year before?
We have been just quietly doing what we knew to be the right thing, all along.
We offer the highest quality; super concentrated, pure, product formulations available. We also list all of our ingredients proudly because we feel it is important for you, the consumer, to understand why we selected each and every ingredient. Quality has always taken priority over price.
Wouldn't it be nice if all skin care companies took the same position?
Sircuit® is amazing! It's real and it works! That's why we have had so much early success.
If we just offered up the same "coat and cover" ingredient philosophy and reworked it in a new way, then what's the point? There are “great” popular companies out there doing a terrific job of doing just that. They may smell good, or feel good but are they really doing anything for your skin's health when it's just coating the skin? Of course not!
We are also aware, that as a consumer, people are skeptical.... and you should be.
Forget the brand and learn to read the ingredient label. Only trust companies that give you fact over hype.
With all the marketing hype and jargon out there, it's hard for a consumer to see through all the "promises" without going crazy or becoming some nutty ingredient expert (although we have to admit we do like "nutty ingredient experts"...Ha-ha). However, at the end of the day and after all the hype and implied promises, we believe skin care companies and the products they offer, should be judged solely on the ingredient list and the product's ultimate effectiveness ...don't you think?
We encourage you to look at your labels, and understand what you are putting on your skin. I think we all can agree that simply slathering chemical filled lotions on our body, (even in the best situation) is probably not too good for us. If you watch what you put in your body by eating the freshest foods available, now with Sircuit®, you can do the same with your skin care regime.
At Sircuit® we give you the straight up facts...
In addition, all Sircuit® and Sircuit® PRO skin treatment products are always designed to be "body friendly" and to protect the moisture balance (pH balance) in your skin, with an extremely effective, simple "be good to yourself" approach.
Well, what does this mean for all of us? Finally, a commonsense skin care line based on trusted facts and science that simply does what it says it will do!
However you won’t really know until you try it for yourself.
Special Note:
You might be aware of the ongoing controversy regarding nanotechnology and the FDA regulations.

News Flash regarding 1,4 Dioxane:
You also might be aware of the controversy regarding a probable carcinogenic called 1,4 Dioxane. 1,4-Dioxane is a petroleum-derived carcinogenic compound that is used intentionally in dry cleaning solvents, lacquers and automotive coolant. 1,4-Dioxane also shows up in personal care products because it is the byproduct of some chemical ingredient manufacturing processes, including the process by which sodium lauryl sulfate becomes sodium laureth sulfate. Independent lab results released in February 2007 revealed 1,4-Dioxane contamination in kids' bath products, as well as some adult products. 1,4-Dioxane is a known animal carcinogen and probable human carcinogen as well as a skin and lung irritant. It is strongly suspected to be toxic to the kidneys and nervous system. It also appears on California's Proposition 65 list of substances known to cause cancer or birth defects.
Although 1,4-Dioxane can be vacuumed-stripped out of personal care products for pennies, this step is often not taken by manufacturers. And because it shows up in many sudsing products, an individual may be exposed multiple times each day through different products. Since it is an impurity, not an intentional ingredient, 1,4-Dioxane does not appear on ingredient labels. For consumers, that means having to go one step further to avoid any products containing petrochemical ingredients that often come along with 1,4-Dioxane contamination.
Sircuit®’s X-Trap™, Savior™, Baff Time™, and Smooth Operator™ have all been independently tested and have been certified to be 1,4-Dioxane free.
